How to Extend the Life of Your Cotton Terry Car Detailing Towels

Toss the white cotton terry cloth towel into the washing machine as soon after soiling as possible. Limiting the time a stain sets in will extend the towel's life.
Use a bleach alternative instead of a commercial bleach product. Bleach will bring out the whiteness in a cotton towel, but harsh bleach gradually breaks down the cotton fibers. Also, bleach may irritate sensitive skin, not to mention the unpleasant chemical smell.
